This is just my own personal view on RE4 and why I love it, why I made the listing etc.

Can I just start this off by saying I'VE BEEN WAITING MORE THAN TWO YEARS FOR THIS GAME TO COME OUT! *phew* Okay, now that, that's out of the way, I can safely say this game is truly a masterpiece and I loved it from the minute I started playing it. Some people may argue about the story, some may argue that it's not 'survival horror' enough not like a 'true' RE, and zomg the lack of zombies is unappealing. Though, those people are few and far between, they can all bite me =D I was freaked out the minute I started playing this friggin game, it felt completely like a Resident Evil to me in every which way. But instead of it being just like every other RE (which some people are afraid of change..><;) they redefined it and made it a game in which I'll probably remember for the rest of my life, I've played enough damn times and still am XD

I was such a huge Leon fan (and is) back in the days of RE2 which remains one of my all time favorite RE's I remember when I heard about RE4 having Leon in it I freaked out. Yes, I'm a bit of a stupid fangirl when it comes to him so sue me, but I really loved his character and not just for his looks. Most of all I love his story with Ada, it was truly the most awesome storyline in the game, and since then I've always loved the rookie cop. Until, he became some awesome motha fucka badass in RE4 but still remained the dorky guy who I remember saying "why doesn't anyone ever listen to me!" in RE2 lol. And no matter how you slice it, even though he's extremely trained and beyond awesome with his skills, he'll always remain a huge dork. They may have changed his build, his look and his abilities but they really didn't change his personality and I love Capcom for not doing so. So another thrill within RE4 being awesome and revolutionary is just playing Leon the dorkmister.

Gotta say, in short cause I think I could rant on and on about how much I love this game. The characters (new and old) were fucking awesome, and the story was pretty intense, it kept me wondering the whole time. I was so scared most of all playing this game and I really hadn't felt that fear in such a long time playing a RE and just in general so this game gets a huge A+ from me XD not that it really matters. And even without my own opinion, this game is widely reconginzed as a masterpiece which really makes me happy since I <3 this game so much, it's good to know others really loved it just as much. I think it'll probably go down as one of my most favorite games ever.
